"A Humble Servant of God"
By: Runbyfaith
I could see a million snowflakes
watch them fall into the sea
fall into the ocean
but they'd never fall to me
Black holes in life so desolate
drowning dreams in disbelief
you looked but never saw light
plauged by the days of grief
Like crystal glass on moonlit nights
a voice so pure and true
came and changed life forever
changed it for me and you
With outstretched hands
he sparked passion in the complacent
to speak against the world
no longer are we silent
No longer are we seen but just never heard
no more do we walk 7 steps behind
the cool and the popular and those with mortal treasure
we've seen one of us who laughed and played and cried
He's not perfect and he doesn't think he is
he's just a humble servant of God
like we should be
you and me
