After meeting the girls, I had to go back up to my room to change and there it all hit...OMG...this is it...Kdee, Gee and Wanted are here, we have really, truly, actually met!!! I can now put faces to names! Clay has been here since maybe the night before? Since that morning? Somewhere in this towering, soaring structure was my thudilicious, heart throbbing, show stopping, Jade eyed, porcelain prince! I lost it!!! Jen could not believe the wreck I had become in a matter of minutes...get changed??? Huh? What? Um, where are my clothes???? My pins...oh yes, thank God I thought to put them on my pullover tops before packing...and wait...I need my blinking Jukebox Pin....okay all set...God somebody get me a walker to keep me upright...I was toast and jelly before I even got back down to the Event Center.

I met up again with Kdee et al and she and I got on line to buy souvenirs...at this point I have one statement I wish to make...after seeing the pictures the so-called professionals took and chose to use in the programs, I demand that from now on they use the gorgeous, hunky photos Clay's fans take of him. The beautiful, candid, close up shots that show off his beautiful cheekbones. Jade eyes and overall handsomeness far and away exceed and outshine any of the ones taken by professional photographers, especially the ones taken and chosen for the program!!! JMHO

It's here...the time is finally here...we are shown to our seats and Jen is amazed at how close we are to the stage...me?? I'm already a puddle on the floor as Jen looks around wondering where her mother has gone!! Our section is dead center on the floor, our seats are dead center in a row of 16, the proximity to the stage...PRICELESS!!!

I can't wait for S'von, Maureen and (forgot the other guys name) to finish the quarter and Jukebox routine....enough already....Paaaaleeze bring me MY CLAY!!!!! And then... there he is... handsome and so cool & hunky in his black leather jacket already trying to keep a straight face as the theater explodes with screams and shrieking like never before...I do believe the entire structure of the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa now has billions of hairline cracks throughout...it has been forever altered by Clay and his Claymates!!

Clay's voce is nothing short of amazing...I have downloaded gazillion videos and watched them all over and over again, I downloaded the MP3s from WolfTrap and the ones chosen for making CDs...BUT I have to say that never, never, ever can anyone get the real scope, the depth and breadth, the gift of Clay's truly amazing, amazing voice, the power, the range the softness...the clarity, from the vids and MP3s made by loving fans with so much talent... they just don't bring home the magnificence, the quality, the heart and the soul of Clay's heavenly gift. I sat there staring at beauty of every kind and hearing that voice surrounding me and coming at me from all angles held such a power to it, I had waves of chills throughout the show!! I felt wrapped in a blanket of every emotional feeling one experiences while at a Clay Aiken concert...there just is nothing better then LIVE!!!!

The beauty of every kind...Clay is beautiful, sensual and sexy in his deliverance of every song, each one is a mini act, a portrayal of the message it's bringing. He emotionally extends long arms and takes you in and wraps you up and you feel sheltered in his love! Clay is beautiful in facial expressions, beautiful in eye expressions, beautiful in body language, he is the consummate entertainer and is right where he belongs...if he ever does get his own TV show...it must be "live" this is when Clay shines the brightest! He eats up his audience and the love we have for him, our enthusiasm and participation as though he were gulping down the biggest Breyers Peach ice cream banana split on the planet!! AND an emphatic YES...Clay is beautiful, funny, sexy and oozing sensuality in his dancing...I just can't help falling in love with him over and over again every time I see him!! Clay Aiken has a life time pass to my heart!!!

The Jukebox Tour was filled with nostalgia, color and vibrance... from the backdrop of the set to the clothing, to the songs that evoked and brought forth so many teenaged memories. I am sorry, but there is just nothing like the fifties and the sixties...street corner doo wop, innocent lyrics and American Bandstand!! The lindy, the hop, the stroll and the twist...Clay brought them all back for us, those times and those songs came alive again and new air, a new deliverance was breathed into them as their lucky lyrics passed through the lips of our idol. My Southern Pied Piper did not let me down as he twisted the night away at the hop in his blue suede shoes!! AND... '63 what a very lovely time for me...what a singer, what a night!!

Clay is indeed the consummate performer, it comes as naturally to him as breathing...in addition to his mellifluous voice, he is a stand-up comic, so easy and so natural are the quick witted quips, the endearing snarks and the beautiful laughter he has at himself...he takes you in and you get lost in him and what ever he is doing at the moment whether it's singing his heart out or ragging on you!

My one Clay Aiken lifetime moment was when he came into the audience to find the "pip" of the evening...it was Bob who happened to be sitting in the row in front of me! There he stood, clad in black, ever so tight pants and that adorable hat perched upon the hair that Angela runs her fingers through maybe 7 or 8 feet away, not even...and he is just gorgeous!!! Those eyes!!!!! We made eye contact and the few seconds that we looked into each other's eyes was heart stopping and time stood still for me...I blew Clay a kiss but the moment was over and he had already looked back at Bob and never saw my floating kiss...I will always wonder how Clay would have reacted...would he have smiled or winked, ignored the gesture, would he have blown one back or made a movement to capture it??? I will never know, but I can dream...he captured my floating kiss and held it to his heart, gave me a beautiful smile and one of his adorable winks...that's my story and A'hm stickin' to it!!!! Well, it is my dream!!!

BTW...Bob was hilarious and played along like such a good sport...Jen broke out into hysterical laughter when Bob finally emerged dressed in the finest boas and wig Clay has to offer!!! He was just too funny!! Even Clay cracked up... a lot and even made a later comment when talking at the mic!

Clay took us through the decades with ease, finesse, class and mega talent!! I had a blast, Jen had a blast and Clay rocked the house!!

PS...Living La Vida Loca...why did no one warn me about the FORWARD THRUSTS?????

August 31...The Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa...magnificent doesn't even begin to describe this majestic hotel! I would love to meet the creative geniuses behind the architecture, design and decoration of this wondrous structure. Every time I looked up I discovered some wonderful visage adorning the ceilings...chandeliers is not even the right word to describe the giant, blown glass, delightful objects hanging above our heads. Glass sculptures hanging, some resembling upside down Christmas trees in shape with delicate, colorful pieces of glass some in vivid color, others in pastels all casting beautiful light, some looked like glass sea shells, flowers and balls, cones and long twisting, snake like stems that held delightful open fluted ends. This hanging glass "artwork" was abundant throughout the hotel in masses and configurations of every shape and size! This hotel was just a wonderland of colors, sights and scenes. Exciting, tantalizing and swank!!

My daughter Jennifer and I checked into our beautiful room and decided to go down to the casino and try our hand at Lady Luck...I won $100 and Jen won $310....not a bad start for either of us but especially for Jen...I received most of my joy just in hearing her laughter, seeing her excitement and her beautiful ear to ear smile!!

We decided we weren't all that hungry and chose to try out the hotel's "Gypsy Bar"...we sat in comfy easy chairs next to the band and ate grilled shrimp on skewers and chicken tacos. While we were waiting for our order to arrive my cell phone rang and it was Kdee...I had to leave the restaurant to try to hear her and we exchanged a few words before I lost her. The second call came from Wanted, who was with Kdee and Gee at that time; they were already in the hotel and agreed to come to the bar to find me. Having seen a picture of our Hoovie I recognized Wanted immediately...those two sisters could almost be twins! It was wonderful meeting Kdee, Gee and Wanted! For me, it made the board and members so much more real after so many months of just a cyber connection. We hugged and hugged and by the time they met Jen she had a mouth full of food...LOL
