Instructions
Step 1 Download the Sound Byte to DOCUMENTS (Or
Where ever you want them)
Step 2. Go to "Start" then
"Settings" then "Control Panel"
Find the "Sounds" Icon and double click. This will open
a box that says "Sounds Properties" In this box you
will find place where all the default sounds are located.
Step 3.Now you can choose which sound you want to change just by
clicking on any of the lttle horns in front. After you
click on the horn, it will allow you to preview that particular
sound by clicking on the arrow right next to the big horn. I like
to pick something appropriate to that sound. for instance,
Instead of having to hear the guy say "Welcome" every
time I get on I hear Clay say "Clay Aiken How are ya?"
You can change anything that has a horn in front of it. You Got
Mail, Mmore Mail, IM, Files Done, etc.
Step 4. Now to change one of them to a Clay sound. First click on the particular sound you are going to change. Next Click on the "Browse" button. This will bring up another box, make sure you change the "Look in" box to "My Documents". (Or Where ever you put them) Then it will show you all the Clay sounds you have downloaded. Find the one you wish to use, then click it, You can also preview it to make sure it's the one you want to change, then click ok. Then go to the next sound and change as many as you wish!
